London Sports Facilities Crane Survey 2009
This publication was produced by Drivers Jonas prior to its merger with Deloitte in March 2010.

Surveys show that progress is lagging, and in London in particular levels have barely risen. There has been no acceleration in the provision of new sports facilities across London over the last two years, although some individual boroughs have made notable progress. The sector is reliant on private schemes – gyms in particular, which have seen a rapid slowdown in new openings as the recession has bitten.
