The residential project management team sits within the firm's project management unit, which also operates in commercial development, PFI, sports facilities and the procurement of public buildings. The team provides advice and management services throughout the full spectrum of residential developments, ranging from rented affordable housing to open-market properties for sale, through all forms of intermediate tenure.
Our experience includes new-build and refurbishment schemes, as well as the residential elements of mixed-use developments. The team has particular expertise in the facilitation, specification and delivery of affordable housing developments, whether procured independently or as a planning obligation, enabled via a variety of partnering or joint venture arrangements.
We are committed to being at the forefront of current trends within the sector, with regard to statutory and best-practice policies and also in terms of the way in which each development and our own services are delivered.
We seek to facilitate good working partnerships between social landlords, developers and associated parties for each scheme. Our approach is to clearly define the required parameters at an early stage and to optimise the accommodation mix, design, procurement and construction methods for the benefit of the development and its future residents. We understand the importance of the long-term investment view and prioritise issues such as sustainability, environmental performance, acoustic separation, security, life-cycle costs and the ongoing management issues that contribute to the success of each development.
In addition to our core roles, we are able to provide relevant ancillary services such as Planning Supervisor where appropriate. We are registered with Constructionline and are fully familiar with all relevant sector compliance criteria.
